Over the years, I've made Melting Moments in a variety of kitchens with varying degrees of modern appliances. In fact, my earliest Melting Moments were all mixed by wooden spoon in a ceramic bowl. Not these days though. Now I simply pop the butter, flours and icing sugar into my food processor and mix until it forms a ball. So much easier! But if you don't have a food processor you can still use a mixer or spoon, it will just take longer.
